The Capital Alliance Network, LLC ("we," "us") respects the privacy of everyone who visits our site, applies for membership, or takes part in our network. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have.
What we collect
- Information you give us. Name, email, phone, firm, title, LinkedIn profile, assets under management or enterprise value range, investment or operating focus, application answers, questions you send us, and event or partner inquiries.
- Interview videos. Only if we invite you to record one.
- Membership and billing details. Your selected membership and billing history. Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.
- Technical data. Device and browser type, pages visited, and approximate location from your IP address, collected through essential cookies and privacy-focused analytics. We use this to keep the site secure and working well.
How we use it
- To review applications and confirm eligibility.
- To provide membership, events, content, and access to our member platform.
- To communicate with you about your application, membership, and events.
- To protect the site and our members, prevent fraud and spam, and meet legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for targeted advertising.
Interview videos
Interview videos are reviewed privately by our membership team, only for your application. They are never published or shared outside the review team. Video files are deleted 90 days after a decision on your application.
Who we share it with
- Service providers that host our site and platform, process payments, deliver email, and protect against abuse. They may use your information only to provide services to us.
- Other members, limited to profile information you choose to share inside the member platform.
- Legal and safety. When required by law, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of The Capital Alliance Network, our members, or others.
- Business transfers. A successor in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this policy.
How long we keep it
We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes above, including membership administration, legal, tax, and compliance requirements. Unfinished applications are deleted after 30 days. Records of your consent to membership terms are kept for at least three years.
Security
We protect your information with encryption in transit, role-based access with two-step login, and audit logging of access and changes. No system is perfectly secure, and we will notify you as required by law if a breach affects your information.
Your choices and rights
You can ask to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal information, and you can opt out of non-essential emails at any time using the link in any email. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights, including the right to appeal our response. We honor Global Privacy Control browser signals. We will not treat you differently for exercising your rights. To make a request, email concierge@thecapitalalliancenetwork.com. We may need to verify your identity first.
Children
Our site and network are for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Where data is processed
The Capital Alliance Network is based in the United States, and your information is processed and stored in the United States.
Changes
We will post any changes here with a new date. If a change is material, we will notify members by email.
